L'Occitane Aqua Reotier Mineral Moisture Mask Review

It’s been a while since i have posted a new Mask Monday, as I’ve mostly been working all things in some existing favourites, such as the I’m From Mugwort Mask or even the Image Skincare Vital C Hydrating Enzyme Mask, but when I returned from my holiday I found I needed something gentle yet highly moisturising, and so i decided to give the L’Occitane Aqua Reotier Mineral Moisture Mask a go, which is a mineral-rich hydrating mask ideal for all skin types, that can be used as whether traditional or overnight treatment.

The L’Occitane Aqua Reotier Mineral Moisture Mask feels exactly as you’d expect; it’s a thick, rich gel that feels like it’s packed full of mineral goodies alongside hyaluronic acid, without anything too greasy or oily, making this a particularly good choice for anyone who loves to avoid anything balmy or buttery, because this is much more of a dense gel. I’ve only used it in the traditional sense, by applying a thick layer and then leave it to do it’s thing for a while (the instructions recommend 10 minutes, I think you can get away with much longer if your skin is particularly parched) and I found it really impressive; it made skin instantly feel calmer, cooler and more hydrated without feeling flooded or clogged. It features a lightness to it that I think spot-prone people would respond too, yet still it feels incredibly hydrating, so anyone who’s experiencing dehydrated skin would like this too. I also think that I could probably pull off using this as overnight mask too – something I mostly avoid – because it doesn’t feel like the sort of product that would clog pores. Finally, you can purchase this in pod form should you fancy trying it out before investing in the full jar. It’s lb32 for 75ml or the pods are 6ml in size for lb4.50
