A couple of weeks ago I excitedly wrote concerning the latest beauty brand to launch at QVC, Julep Beauty. I promised a closer look at the skincare and make-up, so here’s the former! So far, we’ve got a small introductory collection offered at QVC with some key skincare products that, I believe, give us a good idea of the items the brand has to offer. I am really impressed with what I’ve tried so far.
First up, the Julep K-Beauty Double Cleanse Collection, that is a set of three products that can be purchased individually if you’d prefer. The set offers the Julep Love Your Bare Face Hydrating Cleansing Oil (as featured within my love list here), the Julep Love Your Bare Face Cleansing Stick and Julep Charcoal Konjac Sponge. This is a fab little set that’ll work as a great introduction to a gentle-but-thorough double cleansing routine if it’s something you’ve been wanting to try but don’t know where to start; the oil removes all make-up and dirt, the cleansing stick provides a further cleanse and the Konjac works to remove the product whilst providing a really gentle exfoliation. I really like the 3 products, but I really love the oil – it’s such a beautifully gentle product that works very well on all make-up (including very tough mascara) but it’s find on very sensitive skin and eyes. The set is currently reduced to lb38.88 here – .
Next up are the treatment products, which match the cleansing routine above in that they’re gentle, soothing and hydrating, so they’re designed to quietly improve skin without anything aggressive or OTT, usual for the Korean Skincare approach. The Julep What Your Skin Needs Restorative Facial Milk is as lovely as it sounds; it’s kind of like a milky essence that feels gorgeous and lightweight on the skin, whilst still leaving skin feeling hydrated, smooth and bouncy. The Julep Boost Your Radiance Rosehip Seed Facial Oil is yet another great treatment that’s also light and calming, plus it layers really well with the above milk, making these the sort of perfect additions to a Seven Step Skincare Routine (take a look at my post on it here) as they’re sensational looking effective. The final product I haven’t actually tried – the night time Shift Deep Sleep Facial Mask – because it got swallowed up in my skincare stash, so I owe you a review! The entire Julep Beauty Skincare range offered at QVC Beauty can be found here – .
