Benefit have launched a new form of their hugely popular Hoola bronzer: Hoola Lite. This is the first time that they’ve properly strayed away from their bestselling bronzer shade, offering up a rather lighter alternative for those with fairer skin. Or, I suppose, those who want more of a gentle sunkissed effect rather than an obvious tan.
Both bronzers are nice and matte – perfect if you prefer your cheek colour without a carnival level of glitter and glitz. Both Hoolas blend well, though I had been slightly haphazard in the video below, mainly because New Baby Ted started screaming the house down!
So, original Hoola on the left side of my face (as you look at me in the picture above) and Hoola Lite on the right hand side. Hoola Lite is an extremely creamy sort of bronze – it’s around the cooler side, so would work reasonably well as a contour powder too, for individuals who want to dabble in that. In a nutshell, it’s just a very foolproof and flattering powder that’s difficult to overdo and stays in place all day. It’s quite similar to the Bourjois Mat Illusion that I reviewed here, but very slightly lighter and cooler in tone.
