Aveda Stress Fix Pedicure Review

If I had to pick just one treatment to possess for the rest of my life, it would be pedicures; I just find them so relaxing and indulgent, plus they’re also results driven considering you depart with perfectly soft and prettified feet, so what’s not to love? If you’re in the market for some serious foot love and can invest an hour of your day to some seriously good stress relief, get yourself booked in for the Aveda Stress Fix Pedicure.

As suggested by its name, the Aveda Stress Fix Pedicure is made to promote total relaxation, so, whilst it’s an average pedicure in the traditional sense, it’s also got a big focus on massage, heat and aroma to ensure that all senses are engaged to feel as relaxed as possible. The treatments starts with the typical foot maintenance (soak, file, cuticle work etc) before hard skin is taken care of, then hot towels are brought to really lift and sooth weary feet, all of which takes place on the comfy chairs which are nearer the back of the salon, with curtains for privacy and quiet.

After this, there’s an extended and thorough massage that’s so, so great – I was totally chilled out and could not have been less ready for my drive home! After the massage, toes are painted (they will use OPI with Seche Vite top coat – excellent choices) and also the Aveda Stress Fix Pedicure is complete. This is one of those treatments that are amazing for completely relaxing you in a very short space of time, with the effects lasting for several days after…especially since you’re left with such pretty feet as a reminder! I have to say, I was particularly impressed with how soft my feet felt afterwards too – I tend to walk on the edge of my right foot which results in a lot of tough skin, however this was all gone by the end of the treatment, so I might have to pop back before my impending holiday later this year. The Aveda Stress Fix Pedicure is lb48 and I had my treatment in the main Aveda Salon in Covent Garden (it’s huge and amazing! Do visit it if you're able to), which you can find out more about here – .
