I can’t believe it’s March already – this really is horrifying. I still want to wish people a “Happy New Year.” I honestly feel like I simply wrote the January Love List (although I was a bit late with it, so maybe that’s why) but now it’s time for the February one too. I discovered February a lot easier to write as there were some stand out products that came to my beauty rescue.
It’s been a sluggish month for make-up, so I’ve mostly been sticking with trusted favourites with nothing majorly new appearing, apart from the very exciting new Benefit Bad Gal Bang (lb21.50 here – ) (full review here), which is such a fantastic mascara that’s great to use and really does provide you with ‘wow’ lashes. The Beautiful Real Techniques Brush Crush (full range here – ) (full review here) brushes will also be another highlight, with the 304 Fan brush becoming an absolute essential for adding a very natural glow with powder highlighters.
On to skincare…oh look! It’s Omorovicza again. I cannot get enough of this brand as they do such effective products that are indulgent, luxurious and just fabulous. The Omorovicza Midnight Radiance Mask (lb90 here – ) (review here) has appeared in favourites before, but it’s here again as it’s just the appropiate product for when you really can’t face a skincare routine as this does it all; just cleanse, then bung it on, no requirement for exfoliating toner, serum or moisturiser because this performs all three tasks. It’s amazing. A brand new member of my regular skincare routine may be the Vichy Mineral 89 Fortifying and Plumping Daily Booster (currently on special down from lb22 to lb16,50 here – ) which is really a wonderfully hydrating serum that provides skin just enough hydration without leaving it feeling flooded or greasy – it sinks in quickly and removes tightness and dryness brilliantly; full review soon.
Finally, the oh-so-pretty L’Occitane x Rifle Paper Co. Hand Cream is giving me all of the joy at bed time, as not only is it lovely to look at, it’s an incredible night time hand cream too, that provides that rich, buttery hydration that you'll require in the Winter months – at the moment I’m doing a lot of cleaning and being rather rubbish at protecting my hands, so I need all the help I can get, and this hand cream is doing wonderful things, making me feel much less guilty about my raggedy cuticles and sore knuckles. Take a look at my full review here and the lovely and large hand cream is here – .
