I’ve had a few of these Garnier sheet masks floating around and I’ve been wanting to test one for ages, but I’m funny about sheet masks and really have to be in the mood to use one. The time eventually came around a week ago and the first mask I wanted to try was the Garnier Moisture Bomb Pomegranate Hydrating Mask, as I’ve heard only great things and I wanted to find out if it lived up to the hype!
The Garnier Moisture Bomb Pomegranate Hydrating Mask is a really well designed sheet mask, that’s absolutely saturated in product, whilst the tissue mask itself has enough give so you can make it fit – particularly handy if you’re long-faced much like me. I used this as the final part of a really heavy duty facial (check out what I used here) and it did the perfect job of intensely soothing and hydrating my skin therefore it looked and felt calm, plump and really well moisturised without any grease or unnecessary residue. I left it on for around an hour and the additional time really allowed the product to soak in. The only thing I don’t like about this is that it’s got quite a strong fragrance that doesn’t really participate in the product and certainly doesn’t seem to be an essential part of the skincare element, so that’s disappointing, but as long as you don’t have an issue with fragrance then you’ll be fine. The Garnier Moisture Bomb Pomegranate Hydrating Mask is definitely one of the better sheet masks I’ve tried, providing a really good dose of hydration inside a comfortable-to-wear mask. It’s also a bargain at lb2.99 (currently lb1.99 at Boots here – ) and there are a few different varieties available depending on your skincare needs; I notice there are After Sun versions so I’ll pick up a couple to take away with me.
