I featured the Bobbi Brown Primer Plus Protection SPF50 in my big ol’ facial SPF post here, mentioning which i would follow-up with a full overview of this fabulous new product, here it is! The Bobbi Brown Primer Plus Protection SPF50 is part of the new range of primers from Bobbi Brown, which includes four new products: Primer Plus Mattifier (lb24), Primer Plus Radiance SPF35 (lb24), Primer Plus Hydrating 3in1 Setting Spray (lb22) and also the product I have, the Bobbi Brown Primer Plus Protection SPF50 (lb24) which all come together to form the Bobbi Brown Primer Plus range.
The Bobbi Brown Primer Plus Protection SPF50 is a medium-consistency, white cream that blends into skin beautifully and doesn’t leave a cast. What it does leave is skin that appears dewy, plump and slightly blurred, so skin is suitably ready for any base products that follow. I love the fact that this is a multi-purpose primer with your a high SPF of 50, as so often primers with SPF have much a much lower protection rate. I can’t imagine there are lots of skin types who wouldn’t take advantage of using this, other than maybe very oily (but even then this would probably be okay as it isn’t greasy) and as a primer, it’s a very good product that boosts the longevity and radiance of foundations. I also think you could happily wear this alone on low/no make-up days, as it provides a beautifully perfected finish to skin. It’s lb24, that is a really decent price while you don’t need a lot, but at the moment there’s a promo around the Bobbi Brown site for 20% off everything, plus free delivery – in my years and years of Bobbi Brown love I have not seen a site-wide code like this, so I would definitely recommend taking full advantage if there’s something from BB that takes your fancy!
