Malin + Goetz Brightening Enzyme Mask Review

I’ve had the Malin + Goetz Brightening Enzyme Mask for quite a while – the packaging pictured is the sample packaging and not the final look – and I’m only featuring it now because I initially wasn’t planning to feature it whatsoever; all the Malin + Goetz products I’ve tried happen to be great, so I was wanting to give this one a go when I got my hands on it, but I found myself disappointed with the result: skin felt dry and not especially smooth, so I wrote it off as one of those products that didn’t agree with my skin…

…then I decided to provide another go again recently also it was a whole new experience; skin felt and looked glowing, smooth and refined. The product works by offering a mixture of chemical and manual exfoliation inside a gel formula, with pomegranate and pumpkin enzyme alongside botanical AHAs, which means you get a gentle yet thorough exfoliation in a light gel that feels cooling and refreshing onto the skin. I know that I was surprised that you’re only supposed to leave it on for 5 minutes, so it’s entirely possible that I overdid it on my first use, or that my skin was just being particular difficult that time. Who knows? I would definitely recommend this for anybody with sensitive skin who might have a problem with more traditional AHA products, as this is very gentle, yet surprisingly effective for this type of light formula. It’s lb48 for 60ml, which is definitely on the pricier side, but you will get a good few uses from a single tub. Find it here – .
